Your living room couch can be a beautiful furniture right near the doorway, but if it’s low then many older people or someone suffering from joint pain won’t be able to sit in a couch. You are therefore, advised to make arrangements to raise your living room couch to a considerable height, so that every visitor can comfortably sit on a couch.

Take pains to look underneath the couch to find how the couch legs are stalked. If you do not intend to remove legs, opt for a furniture riser. Put furniture riser below the couch legs to make it higher.

Otherwise, if your couch legs can be twisted and removed by unlocking screws, you may use wooden block to raise your couch. Simply put 4 inch by 4 inch wooden block on all corners of your couch, and raise it to the level of your choice. Use wooden screws to jam the wooden blocks.
